This video shows how the Mogadishu orphanage started. From the struggle of finding a premesis to the total renovation and opening of the orphanage. Based in the seaside Abdi Aziz area of Mogadishu, the orphanage was built out of a delapitated building. Everything you see was produced through Shamis' efforts, from the custom made beds to the very clothes the children wear. Watch as we see the children eat, learn, laugh and play in their new home and family.
